You may have felt too much and have weighed too much, herein lies hope, self-love, and freedom.
Losing weight is not quite that easy, but I do know how to help you understand how you got to where you are, and how to release the excess weight you can’t seem to let go of and keep it off. My approach is a sustainable one that worked for me, this is the approach I used to lose more than 30KG and still keep it off today.
There are many weight loss patterns that help you lose weight but you gain it back afterwards. In my eBook- From Fat to the Streets , I stated that there is no magic to weight loss apart from 3 methods. These methods include –
Eat less or eat right.
Eat right and Exercise.
For me, I used the third method and the result is sustainable!
These methods need guidance and accountability to be achieved. In From Fat to the Streets, I talked about how I achieved my weight loss results and became a better version of myself. I offer you an approach which I discovered through my own painful struggle and research.
From experience, I understand how easy it is to obsess with food and avoid exercises because you want the easy way but I’m asking you to be patient. Weight loss transformation takes a lot of discipline, self control, perseverance, purpose and a lot more. It’s okay to realize that eating has a beginning, a middle and an ending. It’s not a way to get away from your stress and emotions. You need to get up and face your fears squarely.
The unhealthy eating habits can be changed. The stress can be relieved by exercising. The mind can still feel the body and you can be a better version of yourself everyday.
Sometimes too, the type of weight we need to lose, is to lose it from the mind, the packed up emotions can also become overweight. It’s time to meditate and release the toxic affairs we have let in to linger in our minds. Let go and free your mind. Breathe in to the air, remember that only you can control how you feel and react to life’s situations.
As I began exercising, I transferred the days stress to my workout sessions, it relieved me greatly. It’s good to have a healthy pattern that relieves you and makes your stress go away. I brought joy back into my life and felt gratitude for my own body.
