Weight loss gave me sanity. I will not say I was insane when I was overweight but I will say I began to see everything differently when I started losing the excess weight. It gave me a new perspective about life and what I want from life. As I worked on my body, I worked on my mind too. I had to take a step back, breath, reevaluate where I went off track, and start implementing positive changes that align with my goals in life and my health to get back on track. Till date, I have lost more than 30KG and this has increased my passion for fitness – I keep working out and eating healthy. I am in love with the gym and every exercise session. I love to try new exercises in the gym and new healthy meals.
Weight loss and fitness have given me a new beginning. It’s made me ready for the new things life bring daily.
It has given me new energy, when I was overweight, I didn’t have enough energy to tackle situations and physical activities. Due to my constant fitness sessions and healthy eating habits, I have energy. It’s just like a miracle! I can now do more than before. I don’t feel weak and tired like before, or want to give up , I feel more energetic and full of life.
I treat people differently, I learnt that everyone is fighting their own battle. During my gym sessions, I realised that people hit the gym for various reasons and for different work out plans. The perseverance and endurance of people in the gym to complete their sessions is quite inspiring. The pains during work out but refusing to stop because the person has a goal. Just like everyone, I’m sure we all have days that are more a struggle than others, but these days are the days we should persevere more and never give up. Weight loss taught me purpose. In the beginning of every journey, it may seem dim but consistency and perseverance make it meaningful. They are omnipotent in every journey.
It’s given me a passion to help every other person struggling with weight, to guide them in their own weight loss journey and become a better version of themselves.
The weight loss journey doesn’t end when I’ve lost the weight. It is a lifestyle. I try as much as possible to keep eating healthy and exercising, considering that some people who lose weight still gain it back. I feel confident that with consistency and determination, I will not only keep the weight off but continue the build strength and foster my love for fitness and wellness. My determination has helped me this far, I am confident it will continue to motivate and inspire me.
What would your life look like if you never take the chance again?
There is a difference between impossible and difficult. Losing weight may seem difficult, but here we make it easy peasy to suit your everyday needs.
